Bantam AA Played Host to an International Team, News (Ajax Minor Hockey Association)

The Ajax Knights Bantam AA team was privileged to once again play host to an international team, the travelling Bantam AA Finland Ilves team. 

The game took place on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Ajax Community Centre and what an exciting game it was.  The Ajax Knights battled back to tie the game late in the second period.  Heading into the third period it was a 2-2 game for most of the period.  The Finnish team scored with a bullet shot to go ahead 3-2 late in the third period.  The Ajax team kept battling and had a number of opportunities but could not put the puck in the net.  The Finnish team sealed the deal with less than 2 minutes to go with an empty netter.


Thanks to the Bantam AA players, their coaches and trainers and all spectators who came out to support the Knights in a great international game of hockey.
