Juveniles Win Scarborough Bruins Under 21 Hockey Showcase Tournament
Congratulations to the Ajax Knights Juvenile AAA/AA team on winning the Scarborough Bruins Under 21 Hockey Showcase Tournament this past weekend.
After 4 hard fought games, they beat the Toronto Colts 3-2 in the semis. With many players playing battered and bruised going into the final game, the Juvies tied the game late in the third to go on to play a scoreless overtime. With their outstanding goalie stopping all 12 shots he faced, they won with their 12th shooter.
The coaching staff thanks the players for their unrelenting hard work, passion and dedication, playing hurt and picking up the extra shifts, as we lost a few players to injury.
Congratulations to the players, coaching staff and parents for a successful weekend.
