2015 -2016 Hockey Season Requirements for Volunteers

Ajax Minor Hockey Association is taking names / emails now for our 2015/16 Hockey Season Volunteer list. All volunteers will be sent details on what is required for each event and have a chance to sign up for activities and times that work for them.   Please send your email address to Nancy Devine to be added to our distribution list for volunteers.    

We will be in need of a lot of volunteers for the following events:

Ajax Knights Break The Ice Tournament – September 10th to the 13th .

·         Playing music

·         Selling raffle tickets

·         General assistance in hockey tournament office

Evaluation Weekend – September

·         Registration (check in players, assign numbers and  pinny), no hockey experience necessary

·         On ice helpers – must be a registered player for the AMHA (for insurance)

·         Require helmet, skates and stick to help with drills and pucks and players

·         Bench helpers for Sunday’s “games” to open bench doors, will require helmet if under 16

Timbits on ice help September – March   10-16 volunteers each week 

·      On ice helpers – must be a registered player for the AMHA (for insurance)

·       Require helmet, skates and stick to help.

·      Will follow lead of a parent volunteer to help with drills, pucks and players

Ron Sharpe House League Tournament

·         playing music

·         Selling raffle tickets

·         General assistance in hockey tournament office
