Week In Review
Submitted By DirMarket on Monday, September 24, 2012
With the OMHA and House League season in full swing it was a very busy week for the Knights and many of our teams are off to a very quick start.

A big week by many of our rep teams.  Our Minor Bantam and Bantam AA teams sit on top of their divisions.  The Minor Bantam Knights are coming off a 4-2 win over Kingston and the Bantam AA team also beat Kingston 9-2.

The Minor Midget A Knights started their season with a 4-2 win over the Whitby Wildcats and the Atom A Knights kicked off their season with a win over Oshawa.

In AE both the Atom and Minor Peewee teams kicked off their season with wins.  The Minor Peewee team beat the Minor Petes 3-2 and the Atom Knights shutout the Pickering Panthers 8-0.

It was also a great week in House League.  The Peewee Division kicked off their house league season with some very exciting hockey.  OPG, Equity Credit Union and Ajax Roofing all won and Legends Made and Surefit battled to a 3-3 tie.

Bantam House League is also underway.  Smart Die and Design, CAA, Legends Made and Scotiabank all won their games while Shoeless Joe's and All-State battled to a 7-7 tie.

The Midget/Juvenille divisions started on the 19th.  Total Home Comfort, Shoeless Joe's, Surefit and Brian English Foundation all won during week one.

Instead of sitting inside waiting for the NHL season to HOPEFULLY start, get out to the ACC and Village arena and catch some great minor hockey.  Our Knights always are going full out and if you are not at the rink you are missing some great hockey.  There are some big games this week so make sure you head out to rink to catch them.  The complete schedule can be found by clicking here.
