Communication of Financial Statements
Submitted By Todd Smith on Tuesday, July 24, 2012
Firstly, I would like to thank all those members who passed along their congratulations and support.  I'm honoured to be able to take on the role of AMHA President and I'm extremely excited to lead the AMHA and continue the tradition of hockey excellence in Ajax.

One of the things the new Board of Directors heard loud and clear at our AGM was the need for the AMHA to improve communication with our members.

To that extent one of my priorities this year is to keep you, the AMHA member connected with the administration of our association and increase awareness of some of the great initiatives we have in the works.

The first order of business is the release of the financial statements for the AMHA for the past 5 years.  While these have been made pubically available at AGMs and via the office, the board felt it was important to make them available electronically.

The financials will outline the costs and revenues for the AMHA.  They highlight our sources of revenue and major expenses for each year.  Please note that the 2012 Financials are DRAFT ONLY pending AGM approval.

In the coming weeks I'll be formally introducing you to the board of directors, asking some of the directors to explain their roles and announcing some exciting new programs we will have in the coming season.

If you have any questions regarding the financials please contact us through the feedback form

You can access the financial statements here

Again thank you for your support and I look forward to a great year for the Ajax Knights.
