Peewee A Wins Oshawa Hockeyfest

Congratulations to the Peewee A team for bringing home the Gold from the Oshawa Hockeyfest.

The Peewee A team went undefeated through round robin play with victories over the Peterborough Petes, Burlington Jr. Cougars and Nepean Raiders White.

Those victories set up a semi-final game against the Cumberland Jr. Grads. Ajax came out on top with a 3-1 supported by a great team effort!

Ajax was set to meet the Newmarket Redmen in the final! Once the puck dropped, the Peewee A team was relentless scoring 3 in the first for a 3-0 lead. Newmarket battled back in the second scoring 2 to make the score 3-2 for Ajax. Ajax battled hard in the third getting an early goal to make it 4-2. An empty net goal late in the 3rd sealed the victory with a final score of 5-2!

Congratulations to the Peewee A team, bench staff and parents!
