Minor House League Convenors Needed, News (Ajax Minor Hockey Association)

The role of a Convenor is one of the most important roles in the AMHA House League divisions.  Games cannot be played until a Convenor is in place.  It is a rewarding and exciting volunteer position that touches all aspects of the playing experience in the Ajax Minor Hockey Association.

The Responsibilities and Duties include:

·         The Convenor will be the "point of contact" between the Minor House League Director and the Coaches

·         Arrange to have all games covered by either the Convenor or a Co-Convenor to perform the duties listed below:

o    Make sure the game sheets are completed before the game.

o    Collect the white/green copies of the game sheet after each game and return them to the mailbox outside of the office.  Alternatively, make sure the timekeepers submit the game sheets in the mailbox.

o    Make sure that the referees and timekeeper are there to start all the games.

o    Report any game Issues to the Minor House League Director.
