Tryout Process
The
AMHA has implemented a new online tryout process for the 2016-2017 season. Players will no longer receive a letter after
each tryout setting out their status. With
the new process in place, this gives the coaches additional time to evaluate
the players after each tryout and avoid the congestion that is caused with
handing out of letters after each tryout and new players coming in to the arenas
for their respective tryouts. A letter will only be handed out at the LAST tryout date of each division/level.
In order to determine the status of a player after each tryout (maximum - 12 hour window), please following these steps:
Go the team’s home page (ie. Novice AA, etc.)
On the left hand side of the page click on “Tryout Player List”
Look for the player’s number that was issued when the player registered for tryouts (this number will follow the player through to the end of the tryouts).
If the player’s number appears, the player is to report to the next tryout. If the player’s number does not appear, it will automatically progress to the next level and the player will report to the first tryout of the next level. Please check the tryout schedule on the website for the date and time.
PLEASE MAKE SURE WHEN CHECKING FOR A PLAYER’S NUMBER, YOU ENSURE THAT THE LIST DISPLAYED WAS UPDATED AFTER THE RESPECTIVE TRYOUT DATE AND TIME. This can be found at the bottom left corner of the page under the numbers listed.
