Ajax Juvenile AA & Midget AA - OHF Weekend
Submitted By Carrie Reynolds on Wednesday, April 13, 2016
The Ajax Knights Midget AA team headed to Brampton this past weekend to represent the OMHA at the OHF Midget AA Championships. Ajax went 3-1 in round robin play.  Finishing in first place the Ajax Knights met up with the London Jr. Knights who they had previously met in the round robin.  The semi-final game was a long and hard fought battle and it took triple overtime to decide the outcome of the game.  Unfortunately the London Jr. Knights were victorious.  Congratulations to the Midget AA for their successful season, OMHA Champions and their representation at the OHFs.

The Juvenile AA Knights were in Scarborough this past weekend also competing in the OHFs Championships.  Ajax finished fourth in the round robin play and secured themselves a position in the semi-finals where they faced off against the first place Toronto Colts.  This semi game required double overtime to determine a winner.  The Ajax Knights emerged victorious and they were off to the gold medal game to face the Mississauga Braves. What seem to be the norm this weekend for the two Ajax Knights teams, overtime was once again required to determine a winner.  Congratulations to the Juvenile AA in winning silver.

Go Knights Go!!!!

I would like to congratulate these two teams for their OMHA win yesterday. I would like to also congratulate the Midget AA team who made it to one game shy of wining an OMHA championship, as well as the Novice AA team who were also OMHA Finalists.

I must say to the players and coaches of the Midget AA team: we applaud your efforts for it was awesome to see you come that close. I would also like to thank all the Midget Players that are in the birth year of 1994. As I watched some of you play your final games for AMHA, I truly wish you and your families nothing but the best going forward in life.
