The Passing of an Ajax Knight
Submitted By Carrie Reynolds on Thursday, March 10, 2016
It is with heavy heart that Ajax Minor Hockey Association sadly reports the sudden passing of one of its own on Saturday evening.  Andrew Gendron was only 15 years old and played hockey on the Bantam AE team. His passing came as a shock to his family and the hockey community as he had shown no previous illness or lack of well-being.  Yet despite the best efforts of the family, paramedics and a team of doctors to revive him, Andrew passed away.  Andrew was a caring and compassionate young man who always put others first and loved everyone.

In keeping Andrew’s memory alive, please purchase a bracelet and keep it close to your heart.  This bracelet signifies Andrew and the blessings he's put on each and every one of us. The embossed message on the inside of the bracelet signifies his passion for hockey. "Once a Knight, Always a Knight." He was a superb hockey player who loved his teammates and his coaches. The Hockey Community will always hold his memory close to their hearts.

The cost per bracelet is $2.00. All proceeds will go to the Gendron Family. If you would like to purchase a bracelet, please contact Grace Meli. Or alternatively, the hockey office will have some available for purchase. The bracelets will be available by Friday, March 18, 2016.

Funeral Arrangements have now been finalized.
