Minor Midget AA Wins Wounded Warrior Tournament
Submitted By Carrie Reynolds on Wednesday, December 2, 2015
Congratulations to the Minor Midget AA team who went undefeated in the Wounded Warriors Tournament in Detroit, MI on the weekend to bring home Gold!

The format for this tournament was Canada vs USA.  The tournament began with a dominate win over the U16 Plymouth Stingrays (4-1) followed up by a tough game against U16 Geneva Cyclones (2-1). The first game on Saturday was a nail biter against the U16 Falcons Hockey with a 1-0 win followed by a dominate win against Michigan Ice Hawks (7-1). With a 4-0 record, the Knights finished 1st within the Canadian division, their opponent would be U16 Metro Jr Jets who finished first in the USA division. These were two very strong teams and this was a fierce fought battle, with the game going back and forth the Knights emerged victorious 4-3.

Congratulations to the team, coaching staff and parents.

Go Knights Go!!!!!
