Bantam A Wins Gold in Lake Placid
Submitted By Carrie Reynolds on Friday, November 6, 2015
Congratulations to the Ajax Knights Bantam A team on winning the CAN/AM Challenge Cup in Lake Placid, New York this past weekend. The team went undefeated in the round robin and defeated the Bradford Bulldogs 2-1 in the final game to win the gold! Eric Douglas got Ajax on the board first and Bradford quickly replied tying the game. Lucas St. Peter then scored late in the second period to take the lead. Ajax had a flawless third period to hang on for the win and bring home the gold medal.

The team also won the prestigious Fair Play Award which is given to the team with the least penalty minutes. Daniel Spriel won the shootout competition and Malcolm Ellul won the shootout goalie competition. It was a memorable and exciting weekend!

Congratulations to the team, parents and coaching staff.

Go Knights Go!!!!
